It's tax time ...

Yesterday I started my temporary tenure on another contract, assisting one of the tax prep companies. Man ... I thought the people I spoke with on the BCC contract were retarded. Case in point: man calls up, he's using one of those do it yourself tax prep programs (the one I support ... imagine that), and he's updated the federal tax forms, and he's paid for, and downloaded the New Jersey state tax forms. Sounds ok, right? I mean, he lives in New Jersey, so shouldn't be a problem, eh? Well, problem is, he lived in New York for a good chunck of 2001, so he's also got to file New York state taxes.

Captain retardo here decides he's going to get pissed off, and yell at me because he has to pay again, to download the New York state tax forms. He's pissed because he can't just use his New Jersey state tax forms to file his New York state taxes.

Other than that ... it was by and large the most boring day I've ever spent at work.
