Welcome.

Gallion and Crimson's March Madness Super Contest Xtreme Giveaway Of Goodness
At this point, March Madness is rolling through, with Conference Championships and all kinds of goodness going on.  Early next week, the bracket will be determined for the 64 teams to compete in the Tournament which starts on Thursday.  The playoff format and the amount of teams always makes for great stories and should be a lot of fun.

Now, here's where you get involved, if you're interested in the Tourney, or just interested in winning shit.  Earlier this week, Crimson brought up an idea to have a contest with predictions and the like for the Tournament.  Very cool idea, and after hearing that, we went further and now the details.

There will be 2 contests.  The first will consist of you sending in your picks for every game of every round of the tournament.  For each game you get correct, you earn a LD Token.  For every upset you predict (Where the underdog wins, even if it's 5 over 4), you get an additional 1/2 Token.  Also, if you pick a team to win a certain round against another team and the team you picked them to beat isn't actually there, you still get a half token for picking the winning team to be there.  Hope it's not too complicated for ya.  The person with the most tokens at the end is the winner and gets the Grand Prize.  The reason they're tokens, though, is that even if you don't win, you can turn them in for lesser prizes that will be listed after the tournament is over.  I'll keep track of your tokens for you.

The second contest will use pretty much the same rules, but will go on a round to round basis, rather than all at once.  You'll have the opportunity to get more right, but the competition will be a bit stiffer.  Also, the prize won't be as great as the one for the first contest, but you'll still get something neat.  The tokens from this contest are not redeemable, though, if you don't win.

I look forward to your participation.  I should have everything set up for you on Tuesday, as long as the brackets are complete then.  You'll have to e-mail me the information, so make sure you have that opportunity if you are going to be competing.

Well, most of you don't even know what this is because I've been too lazy to get information to the site except for some small tidbits in Week 1.  Well, we're in Week 9 now, and we've got some great games this weekend.  During this weekend, I will be setting up polls for you to vote on the All-Pro players at the end of the year.  You'll be able to vote once a week for the major positions in each Conference.  I'll include stats per position and teams and all that good stuff.  Hopefully we'll get a good voter turnout.

Thanks for reading.
