Welcome.
We've got a new Diamond
Report. batgirl enlightens you with discussions
of possible gay men, a great baseball rivalry,
and a racist. Check
it out.
Now for some Playoff thoughts...
NHL - In the Eastern Conference, Carolina
has a 3-2 lead in the series. I don't expect them
to lose this series now, but Game 6 is in Toronto
tonight. Things can get really interesting if
CuJo stands on his head again (A rarity these
days). Out West (kinda), the Avs pulled off an
Overtime winner in Game 5 and now they head home
for a chance to close out the series against Detroit.
The smart money is on that not happening. I don't
think it'll be a goalie battle like the last 2
games.
NBA - Last night, the Nets tied up the
series at 2-2 with a "hold 'em off and pray
for the best" type of win. Everyone on Earth
knows how badly the Nets looked in Game 3 when
losing that huge lead. I didn't expect them to
win another game after that, and they tried not
to, but it worked out. Now back to New Jersay
for Game 5. Lakers vs. Kings, 2 guys vs. a Team.
Until the Lakers play as a team, they won't win
as a team. That became oh-so-evident when Shaq
and Kobe couldn't get it done, but alas, there's
Robert Horry who's been hitting 3-pointer after
3-pointer of giant magnitude all his playoff career...
just sinks one... GAME. Fuck the Kings. A bunch
of whining pussy-bitches who need to learn how
to lose with class, rather than with a big fat
crying ass.
Move out!
