Tonight, the first ever FUYA League game will kickoff.  It features the Rochester 4HWF going to Michigan to take on the Battle Creek Overkill.  It is also the FUYA Game Of The Week and once this game has completed, expect full analysis and information on what happened.

Will the rise of legendary defensive end John Matuszak from the dead and a core of ex-Raiders alumni be enough to stop one of the greatest wide receiving tandems in FUYA - James Hardi and Damage, Inc.?

Game Of The Week Pre-Game Analysis :

Rochester 4HWF
Offense - Can pass the ball effectively, but have age in both QB and WR.  Where this team will win the ballgame is with the run.  Amely is a top 5 RB, and the Offensive Line can impose it's will on just about anybody.  Especially against the defensive line of the Overkill, which is lacking in overall skill.  Controlling the clock is a must.
Defense - John Matuszak in his prime.  Need I say more?  This should be a great matchup, as the Overkill's right side of the OL is it's strong point.  The rest of the line has some talent, along with some overachieving linebackers.  Solid corners and the safeties aren't a pushover.  Giving up the big play might be a problem, so getting to the QB is a must.
Special Teams - The kicking and punting game will all be dictated on how well Amely performs.  He's an ironman type player who plays HB on Offense and Kicks and Punts as well.  I expect this to be a strength for the 4HWF.

Battle Creek Overkill
Offense - Big play, big play, big play.  This team will burn you and do it without looking back.  A primetime QB who also Kicks and Punts, along with 2 stout Receivers, and a TE who also plays MLB.  An all purpose back in James at HB, but who needs him?  Dick just needs to throw the ball up and let Hardi and Inc. go grab it.  If that don't work, just dump it underneath to TE/MLB Malone and let him turn it upfield.  If their OL can hold Matuszak and the boys down long enough, this game could get out of hand quickly with this kind of talent.  "You don't fuck with the Crew!" - Coach Ozzymadeo Deus in reference to his All-Star Offense labeled "The Road Crew."
Defense - The defensive line will be the problem for this team.  The only size is in the backups, and with the 4HWF's monstrous OL, the ball win be run right up their throats all day.  But, the linebackers are very good, especially with the dominant Malone roaming the middle.  The secondary is second to none on the corners with Hardi and Inc. rotating to the defensive side of the ball.  And, the safeties should be able to hold their own.  Will be an interesting matchup with Rice and Brown running those deep patterns.
Special Teams - The Overkill have an ironman of their own in Kicker/Punter/Quarterback Moby Dick.  Same story as the 4HWF, as long as Dick does well, this should be a positive.

Breakdown (Advantages)
Offense - Overkill (Too many weapons)
Defense - Overkill (Crossover players give the advantage)
Special Teams - Tie (2 awesome kickers)
Coaching - 4HWF (Any coach who can raise the dead has to be pretty good)
Intangibles - Overkill (First game ever and at home)
Prediction - 41-27 Overkill

Quotes
