The
Rankings Are Out…..
And It Looks
Stormy.
By: Popeye |
The Hurricanes have remained on top in both major
polls released this month. The AP poll, released
this past weekend, has Miami ahead of #2 OU by
a surprisingly small 14 points. Of course, I think
the AP poll is always a bullshit poll but here’s
how the three polls’ top 5 stack up with
each other (counting mine):

As you can see, the AP don’t have a clue.
I mean come on….Florida State 3?!?! Above
both UTs, that’s just ridiculous. So, taking
all three into account I give you Popeye’s
preseason BCS…

Conference Predictions- Part 1
 |
ACC |
Look for Florida State to storm back into the
hearts of football fans with a return to glory.
Now, don’t get caught up in all the bullshit
that they’ll be in Tempe, but they will
win the ACC by a game or two. The wild card in
this conference will be North Carolina. They’re
hard to predict. Will they be like they were early
last year at 0-3 or will they continue the strong
play with which they closed last year?

Finally, finally!! Texas brings it home in stunning
fashion. After tearing through a weak non conference
schedule, the boys of Austin put on a show by
winning the big games like OU and Nebraska.
I think the sleeper of the conference is K State.
I see them as out of the spotlight and they could
sneak up on an up for grabs north division. The
most appealing thing about this year will be watching
those fucking aggies lose time and time again
at home.

Miami will once again be the toast of this weak,
and I mean weak, conference. The south beach thugs
will sweep through their schedule only to lose
in the championship game to……well
check back next week for my opinion.
There you have it. In summary, Miami and Texas
will put on shows and the AP writers are idiots.
Be sure to check back next week for the remaining
conference breakdowns and bowl predictions.
