The 2001-2002 Playoffs start today!
Kick-ass! Of course, that's for those of us who like
football and the NFL. We got 2 games today, and 2 tomorrow.
So, on to the games...
Tampa always seems to find a way
to lose when it's under 40 degrees outside in the game.
They're like 0-9874395874 or some shit. It's horrific.
Yes, it's odd, but it's a stat that seems to follow them around,
so that's all I need to say here. Although I fucking
hate the Eagles with a passion that runs so deep I'd kill
myself if it would make them lose every game from now
until the end of time. But, you can't have everything.
Pick: Eagles, 13-12
So the Jets beat the Raiders in
Oakland last week. That pissed me off. My beloved
Seahawks would have gotten into the playoffs had they not
won. Fuckers. Oakland won't lose at home 2 weeks
in a row, let alone to the same team. If they do, then
may God have mercy on Coach Gruden's soul. A side note
- Testaverde is going to choke, lose his team the game, and
in a fit of rage commit seppuku at midfield with a rusty camera
tripod. Maybe. I could be wrong.
Pick: Raiders, 87-3
That does it for the daily picks.
I'll have Sunday's picks up Sunday morning. Now, on
for who I think will face each other in the Conference Championships
and who will win it all :
AFC Championship Game - Baltimore
at Oakland
NFC Championship Game - Chicago
at St. Louis
Super Bowl - Baltimore
vs. St. Louis
Super Bowl Champion - St.
Louis Rams
Yes. I'm crazy, but that's
ok. I hate the AFC, anyways. So, I picked what
I would like to see happen. The NFC
is where I try to be more realistic. Anywho, e-mail
me what you think about my picks, or if you just want to talk
some shit or have something good to say. Also, soon
we will have the forums up, just working out some details.
That will kick ass.
