DETROIT RED WINGS vs. (2) COLORADO AVALANCHE
Gallion – This series is the Stanley Cup
Finals. Whatever team survives here should have
no problem winning the Cup, save injuries. There
are so many great players on both teams so this
should be one hell of a watch. The goalies are
great, but I don’t see one or the other dominating
this series. Detroit just has too much
for the ‘Avs so I see them winning a very
tight series. A bad break here and there and
Colorado can definitely win it. It’s that close.
Ozzymadeo - Let me just stop right here
and congratulate Peter Forsberg on being a genius.
He sat out the entire regular season and came
back in time to play in the playoffs. What better
way to be lazy and try and get yourself a ring.
Too bad it'll fail. I hear Scotty Bowman is a
cannibal. He likes the lazy meat.

CAROLINA HURRICANES vs. (4) TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
Ozzymadeo - I originally predicted the
Hurricanes were going to go all the way.
But then in the second round, things changed.
I was certainly surprised. And right now, the
Hurricanes are just pissing me off. Damn you, Hartford! Quit over
achieving! You lost the Hornets! You
didn't even go to the games when they're in the
PLAYOFFS! Damn you, Carolina! There
are other cities that deserve hockey! Like that
place in Canada. That place up north! Yeah!
Gallion – In my predictions, I have been
an utter and complete failure in the Eastern Conference.
I have gone 0-6, so you can guarantee that whomever
I pick isn’t going to win. If the ‘Canes win, they can cause some trouble in the Finals. If the ‘Leafs win, they’ll just try to injure the other team in the Finals. CuJo
sucks balls. But, I have to make a pick <flips
quarter>, tails, that’s the lower seeded team,
the Maple Leafs.
