It's a really short one this time, folks.
Just wanted to take this time and let people
know that Queensryche frontman, Geoff Tate,
is about to be releasing a solo album. Remember
Queensryche? They had a couple of hit songs
back in the mid-ninties. Progressive rock/metal.
If you liked Slaughter and stuff, chances
are you owned a Queensryche CD. About the
same tier as far as music goes. But back to
Geoff Tate. I've heard a single from his new
album. I believe the song was called "Off
The TV". I wasn't a huge Queensryche
fan. I enjoyed the song "Empire"
from the "Empire" CD....but other
than that, I think they're kind of a waste.
But if you're looking forward to Geoff Tate's
new project or if you're a huge Queensryche
fan....here's waht you have to expect from
his new CD.
To put it bluntly, this stuff is unbearable
crap. It's garbage. It's just a stinky pile
of shit. The vocals are bland and sticky.
It's like the voice behind Silent Lucidity
is now trying to become Scott Stap (Are there
2 P's in his name? Doesn't matter. He sucks
too). Nothing special about any of this stuff.
Just a bunch of "filler" tunes that
Geoff Tate must have thought was some "truly
unique and trendsetting" material.
It must suck to have a band that's lived waaay
too long past it's prime. And to have NO NAME
RECOGNITION....it's not a stable foundation
to start a solo career on. The most important
thing is talent and Geoff...you got NOTHING!
Now, Ozzy....he had talent. Thus, a successful
solo career. Even Jon Bon Jovi saw some success
as a solo artist. But, Geoff, you suck complete
ass. Don't leave Queensryche. And don't write
any more new tunes. Just play bars and clubs
and small venues and keep opening up for even
more washed up bands and keep making what
money you can. This solo career is gonna end
quicker than it started. It's a shame but
I guess that's what happens to people who
can't write a decent tune.
That's all I gotta say about Mr. Tate and
his shitty ass new CD. I prolly would have
been a bit merciful had I not been dicked
around on being able to talk with the guy.
It's not a cool thing to commit and then back
out of interviews. Shit head!
Ozzy's "Live At The Budokan" is
out. It's good. Get it. It's bound to be better
than this Geoff Tate shit. |
